Langlois Lions Viewing Bench Floras Lake

The Langlois Lions Club is proud to announce that wonderful viewing bench has been installed on the shores of our beautiful Floras Lake. The project commemorates the International Lions Club centennial year 2017-2018. The bench was hand built by a Langlois Lions Club member, Lewis Lang at a minimal cost to the club. Many thanks to Lewis and also to the Curry County Parks Department for the prompt approval and to the camp host who worked with Lewis to get the best siting. The bench will be just lovely for watching the kite surfers, the flocks of birds, the sunset and also to just sit and listen to the frequent roar of the ocean’s waves- a roar louder than any lion’s.
